About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of technology with expertise in systems implementation and optimization. The candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating, implementing, and optimizing systems and processes that support credit evaluation, risk management, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, and experience with systems optimization in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing systems and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for systems improvement and optimization.
- Recommend and implement appropriate systems and software solutions that support credit evaluation, risk assessment, and operational effectiveness.
- Configure and customize systems to align with ABL and credit evaluation methodologies, ensuring accurate and efficient data capture, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and implement testing plans and procedures to validate system functionality, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide training and support to end-users, including credit analysts and risk management teams, to ensure effective system utilization and data integrity.
- Continuously monitor system performance and data quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with system vendors and IT teams to resolve issues, implement updates, and ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to credit evaluation, risk management, and systems optimization in the financial services industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Advisor, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on systems implementation and optimization in the financial services industry.
- Experience with implementing and optimizing systems
- Proficiency in analyzing and documenting business requirements, workflows
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop practical solutions
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and technological advancements in the financial services industry.
